Assistant Headteacher Mrs Till’s inspirational assembly ended this half term with a real focus on everything that underpins our school and is embodied succinctly in our school motto ‘Aspire to Achieve’. She reminded students that aspirations don’t have to necessarily be very grand, long term goals, but can be based on simply being better today than you were tomorrow.
Having a growth mindset is key; being someone willing to learn from mistakes but to always try. It was a fitting way for all students to reflect on their achievements made since September and to look ahead to what they want to achieve by the end of the Autumn Term.
