Last Monday, we took 31 members of our ever growing Dance Company to the Great Big Dance Off competition Regional heat. Both our Juniors and Seniors competed against London’s best school dance companies. The juniors wowed the crowd with their exciting 80s number and audiences were highly impressed with our KS4/5 dancers company piece to Kanye West’s ‘Lost in the world.’ We managed to place 6th in both divisions and since that was our first competition performance in 4 years, I could not be happier! Not only did our students perform well, they were professional, kind and considerate to other performers at the competition. Now we are preparing for our Music and Dance show on Tuesday 5th July. We will definitely be attending next year’s competition hoping to be promoted to the national heats.
Well done Dancers!
