Many of our students are new to Our Space and its unique emphasis on non-electrical play.  This gives students the opportunity to use their own skills of deduction and logical thinking, alongside learning the art of social skills.

Communication through play allows our students to use facial expression, foster language development, turn taking and resolving conflicts, all in a supervised, safe environment.

This is even more relevant to students whose English understanding is limited.  Both Abdul and Imran joined us a few days ago and have very little English language understanding, yet they have found a way to join the group by playing board games.

Next week Our Space will be hosting Children’s Mental Health Week 9th -15th of February, every lunchtime in G2, with sweets and cakes on sale, for a fundraiser.
