A haven for Our students and Our staff

It was wonderful to see students and staff sharing a learning experience and an intellectual challenge.  Passing through G2 at lunchtime, staff were invited to join in a game of chess.  The students were very excited to use their talents against strong opposition.

A timeless social activity that brings together people of different backgrounds, ages, and skill levels, chess has always been available in Our Space alongside other board games and activities.  There is only one rule in Our Space and that is no electronic devices !!!  This  allows students to engage in social interaction, develop self-regulation, problem-solving skills and strategies to cope with frustration.

Our Space has always welcomed any staff who are able to give up some of their time to support our students.
