The Power of Collaboration!

“It’s easier to concentrate.”
“I get less distracted.”
“I heard from my friends how useful last week’s Study Saturday was and wanted to come today to get some maths work done.”
“It’s better to work with others around you.”
“My best mate is really good at maths and he helps me.”
“It’s a nice quiet space to work.”

These were just some of the incredibly powerful comments made by a cross section of Year 11 and 13 students who attended this week’s Study Saturday session in the LRC. A few of the 75 students arrived as early as 9.30 am and were waiting keenly for our dedicated LRC Manager Mr Back to arrive and start the session which officially runs every Saturday from 10.00 am until 2.00 pm.
These powerful images show some of the students working both collaboratively and independently – completing past papers, creating revision cards, working on Mathswatch or one of the many other online learning platforms provided for free by the school.
