A huge thank you to everyone who participated in our June 2026 Student Survey! We had a fantastic response rate, with over half of our student body taking the time to share their feedback. Your insights are incredibly valuable in helping us make Bushey Meads School the best environment it can be.
The data highlighted several areas where our school community continues to thrive:
A clear majority of students reported that they feel safe and happy at school.
Students overwhelmingly feel they are making strong academic progress in their lessons.
Our younger year groups shared particularly positive views regarding school leadership and the support they receive.
While there is much to celebrate, you also highlighted crucial areas where we need to improve. We hear you loud and clear, and we are already actively addressing:
Ensuring a focused learning environment for everyone.
Speeding up and improving how we communicate updates when you raise an issue with us.
There were 83 individual free-text comments submitted in this survey. Please be assured that these comments are being reviewed closely, and staff will be reaching out to discuss specific feedback with students individually to ensure your concerns are acted upon.
Remember, you do not have to wait for a survey to voice your thoughts – we urge all students to continue sharing their ideas, worries, or suggestions with us at any time through your CDCs, Pastoral Managers, or student parliament.
