Introducing Miss Ali, Careers and Work Related Learning Coordinator
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Miss Ali and I am delighted to have joined Bushey Meads School as the new Career and Work Related Learning Coordinator.
I am looking forward to working with all our young people and supporting them as they explore their future options and help them make informed decisions about education and careers. Throughout the year I will be working with students on career planning, work experience opportunities, further education options, apprenticeships and employability skills.
As part of our careers programme, we had Mel from Services For Young People (SFYP) deliver an assembly to the Year 8’s. During the session Mel introduced the students to the support and opportunities available through the organisation and discussed how they help young people as they begin thinking about future education and aspirations. It was a valuable opportunity to encourage students to start considering their future pathways from an early age.
I look forward to working with students as they prepare for the future.
