As part of our Vertical Character Development Programme in February, students were challenged to design and present ideas based around raising money for a chosen charity. Students worked collaboratively to create presentations which included ideas for fundraising events and activities to support worthwhile causes.
All groups presented their ideas to their Head of House, who selected one group from each house to take their ideas forward. Following discussions between Heads of House, it became clear that many students shared similar exciting ideas for a community fundraising event.
We are therefore delighted to announce that we will be holding a School Fair on Wednesday 8th July from 3:00pm – 4:30pm, taking place before Meads Fest.
Students will be running a variety of stalls and activities, and we would really appreciate your support. As part of the event, students would like to organise a raffle and create hampers for both children and adults. We are therefore reaching out to ask whether families may be able to donate any items to help make this possible.
Suggested donations include:
If you are able to contribute, please leave donations at the school reception desk for the attention of Mrs Hughes by Tuesday 30th June.
All donations, big or small, would be greatly appreciated and will help support this exciting student-led event.
Further information regarding the School Fair will follow shortly.
Thank you for your continued support.
