Year 9 End of Year Exams
This week marked an important milestone for our Year 9 students as they began their end of year examinations. The students sat their English exam on Wednesday, followed by Science on Thursday and Maths on Friday.
Throughout the exam period, students applied themselves with real determination, demonstrating a clear understanding of expectations. They followed instructions promptly, took on board the guidance provided around the exam rules and put this into practice with confidence.
What stood out the most was the excellent attitude shown by the Year 9 students, which strongly reflected our Keys to Success at Bushey Meads, Respect, Responsibility and Relationships. From start to finish, the students conducted themselves impeccably, working in silence, maintaining the exam conditions, and showing respect for one another.
This experience will prove invaluable as the students prepare for their next stage. It provides a solid foundation for the PPEs and ultimately, their public examinations as they move into Key Stage 4 next year.
