Meeting 7 Beech
It was amazing to meet the new Year 7s in Beech House this week.
What a lively bunch of students willing to try their best at all tasks including the tower task they worked on in groups.
Each group was given raw spaghetti and marshmallows with the task to build the highest tower that could stand for 5 seconds without assistance. They all did amazingly well with a lot of the students figuring out that they could work together to mush and mix the marshmallows into a glue like material to stick the spaghetti together making it less brittle.
The winning team were Logan, Adam, Ebou, John and Tyler.
I am very excited about these Year 7s and can’t wait to see them make Beech proud in upcoming house events.
Well done 7 Beech!
