Year 10 RE Enrichment Experience
A vibrant and interesting day was spent by year 10s on Thursday 2nd February as part of our RE Enrichment programme.
Students learnt all about the religion and culture of Hinduism. They got to experience the delights and colour of a traditional Hindu wedding, taste some traditional cuisine as well as hear all out the customs and beliefs of this world religion. Students attended three distinct workshops run by visitors from Bhaktivedanta Manor from the Hare Krishna Temple in the morning. In the afternoon students were taught the ancient physical, mental and spiritual practice of yoga.
Now that the summer weather is here, students in the year 7 area have been making the most of it. Some have been playing football while others are enjoying games of table tennis....
