A Summer Term of Lockdown Arts

This week would have seen our more able drama students take part in the annual Bushey Meads Outdoor Shakespeare production supported by a range of artists from across the arts faculty. It is with sadness that we could not bring you this much loved event this year and instead wondered what we could do instead.

Looking back over this term’s work we realised that the biggest thing that had been missing from the arts curriculum was the opportunity for students to see each other’s work. Watching your peers acting, dancing, singing, playing instruments is crucial to the development of our young artists. It is always the highlight of teaching in the arts when you see students inspired by the work produced in the school.

So we decided we would share some of our favourite pieces of work that have been submitted to us over the last term.

If you can spare just under 15 minutes of your time then it is worth watching the wonderful selection of work in our ‘A Summer Term Of Lockdown Arts’ video below.
