The SEND Mental Health Support Team are offering a free workshop for parents and carers of pre-teens and teenagers.

This informative session will provide guidance, practical strategies, and support around:

  • Supporting your child through puberty
  • Understanding sex education
  • Exploring the links between puberty, emotions, and mental health

There will also be an opportunity for parents and carers to share experiences and tips with others facing similar challenges.

The workshop is open to all parents and carers, regardless of whether their child has an identified SEND need, as the advice and strategies shared are designed to be adaptable and supportive for all young people.
