On Friday evening, students, staff, families and members of the wider community came together for a fantastic charity football match in support of one of our year 11 students who is currently battling leukaemia.
The event was a wonderful success, with an incredible atmosphere throughout the evening. It was heartwarming to see so many people unite for such an important cause, showing the true strength and spirit of the Bushey Meads school community.
A special mention must go to our Year 11 students, Frank and Ronnie, who organised the event so brilliantly. Their hard work, dedication and leadership ensured the evening ran smoothly, and they also took part in the match themselves. They should be extremely proud of what they achieved.
The evening was not only an enjoyable sporting occasion, but also a powerful reminder of the kindness, compassion and support that exists within our school community. Thank you to everyone who attended, participated and contributed to making the event such a memorable and meaningful occasion.
