It was an inspiring way to end the week last week during lesson 5 on Friday – conducting a learning walk around our outstanding Maths Faculty. With Year 7s grappling with the concepts of long division and gradients of straight lines, sixth formers making progress in their challenging Core Maths and A level Maths lessons, Year 8 students talking and explaining about how to expand brackets and simplify algebraic expressions and others demonstrating excellent use of online learning platform My Maths, it once again reminded me of the excellent teaching and learning that they are being provided with.
Engagement was high, great progress was being made and all students were demonstrating excellent attitudes to learning across all classrooms. It was a very impressive end to a busy week at BMS!
