Outstanding Results at all levels in August...

The academic year started this week with all staff celebrating the school’s outstanding A level results and ‘best ever’ GCSE measures for 5+ A*- A grades, 5+ A* – C grades includingEnglish and Maths and 5+ A* – C grades in English, Maths and 2 Sciences.

In addition to this:

  • 17 subjects improved their A* – C results from 2017 by an average of 14.4%
  • 12 subject areas achieved their best ever A* – C results since 2014
  • 18 subjects improved their A* – A measure from 2017 by an average of 1.4%
  • 7 subject areas achieved their best ever A* – A results since 2014
  • Our more able students have this year performed better than ever and our overall progress measures are some of the best we have ever achieved, indicating that we continue to be an excellent school adding real value to students education

I would like to congratulate all the hard working students and staff and of course thank the parents and carers for their ongoing invaluable support for the school.

As expected there is a very positive atmosphere in the school as we start another busy year; onwards and upwards!
