STEM Challenge of the Week – Geodesic...
Dear students, parents and carers,
As we continue to raise the profile of STEM and get more students inspired to take part in STEM activities both within the curriculum and through extra curricular opportunities a new and exciting addition to the weekly BMS newsletter is the STEM Challenge of the Week.  Each week, a new challenge will be shared for students and even their families to get involved in.
This week’s challenge is an Engineering challenge and I hope you find it enjoyable as well as learning a bit more about Geodesic Domes, the power of the triangle and these real life structures that can be found all over the world!
Please do email me any pics of the structures you make (with or without you in the picture) and I can include these in next week’s STEM Challenge article.
So, go ahead, join us on the STEM band wagon and enjoy taking part in our weekly challenge!
