ROUNDERS

Y10 Girls v Queens  (Friendly)  AWAY Mrs Cooper

Date : Tuesday 9th May

Result : 11.5 – 8.5 Win

Squad : L.Wheaton, M.Cozens, J.Levitan, R.Savjani, A.Chaudhry, N.Donald

Player of Match : M.Cozens – voted for by the opposition

Comment: A great competitive game played in the right spirit by both teams and with lots of laughter and enjoyment evident. The BMS girls worked hard in all areas of the pitch to secure victory in a very close game. With Queens fielding first and taking some impressive catches the BMS team were under pressure but managed to stay in the innings to take a score of 6.5 from their first bat. BMS showed their fielding strengths also and with some good work on the posts and good decision making managed to limit their local rivals to 4.5 runs. The second innings for both teams were similar with the batting improving but it was BMS who managed to claim the win.  Well done everyone.

ROUNDERS

Y9 Girls v Queens  (Friendly)  AWAY Mrs Cartledge

Date : Tuesday 9th May

Result : 16- 13.5

Squad :  A Gibson R Chudasma, E Bird,  L Qarib, I Wijerathna. Z O’Brart, L Winslett. V Hill, S Doran

Comment: The first rounders match of the season delivered a very close and entertaining match . In the first innings both teams delivered some strong batting and fielding resulting in a draw. In the second innings Queens improved their fielding and managed to decrease our batting score. In our fielding we had some fantastic catches and bowling which also meant we got players out. It was a lovely game with great sportsmanship by both teams and improved play by all,  A special mention for L. Winslett for offering to help Queens when they were players down.
