Stronger Together
It was a privilege to join the Beech House Assembly this week and hear Miss Kent as the Head of House on Tuesday morning talk to all the members of the House about working together.
She shared her thoughts about this important Theme of the Week and took the powerful analogy of a puzzle and likened this to the House and the concept that, whilst every piece is important, together an even greater picture is made.
She also reminded students of some of incredible things that they have achieved in working together – sports days, school musicals, dance shows and the like were just a few things that sprung to mind. Working together also promotes deeper friendships and a stronger sense of belonging – something that epitomises all great schools and something we are very proud of continuing to promote at Bushey Meads.
It was a great way to start the day and her assembly will hopefully encourage all students to participate enthusiastically in Vertical Character Time Activities this week and next and also raise a lot of items for our upcoming Foodbank drive.
