The Institute of Economic Affairs (IEA) is the UK’s leading free-market think-tank, founded in 1955. The IEA offers various internships and programmes that they run throughout the year. One of the programmes they offer is aimed at A level students. This year they are running a programme for 6th form students between Monday 10th-Friday 14th July 2023. The week will include lectures, discussions, and debates with expert economists. Participants will hear from people in academia and politics about career opportunities, and at the end of the week the interns will debate on current affairs.
