The annual Bushey Meads Open Evening was popular as always on Thursday 18th September, where staff in the Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty had the opportunity to show off their subject areas to prospective parents and students.
With support of some excellent subject leaders and helpers, coupled with the enthusiastic subject teachers across the faculty, evening exemplified everything that makes me proud to work as a Head of Faculty at Bushey Meads by observing how everyone spoke so proudly about their subject area; from why the picked the subject to their own accomplishments within it.
From witnessing a range of activities such as designing cookies in Religious Education, guessing the medieval scent in History to Logo quizzes in Business Studies, there was enough going on to keep students and parents immersed in the experience and offer an insight into what the Bushey Meads experience is like.
To another successful year.
