Flair Week has once again graced our school with lots of activities and opportunities, leaving students buzzing with excitement and inspiration. From insightful career talks to unforgettable trips, the week was packed with experiences aimed at broadening horizons and igniting passions.
One of the standout events was the much-anticipated trip to Oxford’s prestigious Balliol College. Our Year 11 students had the incredible opportunity to immerse themselves in the historic atmosphere of one of the world’s most renowned academic institutions. It was an experience that undoubtedly left a lasting impression on all who attended, sparking dreams and aspirations of academic excellence.
Another highlight of the week was the visit from Brunel University, where representatives shared valuable insights into diverse paths available within the field of education for our Year 10 and 12 students. The engaging presentations and discussions offered invaluable guidance to those considering a future in higher education, empowering them to make informed decisions about their academic and career journeys.
In addition to these enriching experiences, Flair Week also shone a spotlight on the remarkable achievements of our students. During the learning walk last week, some flair in Design & Technology and Art lessons was noticeable. Here are a few examples of students working at a higher level.
Huge thank you to all who contributed to making this week a resounding success, from our dedicated staff to our enthusiastic students. Your efforts have truly made Flair Week a memorable and impactful experience for everyone involved.
