Elevate & Excel Launch

On Tuesday evening, we welcomed a number of parents and carers into school to launch our new programme for sixth form students, Elevate and Excel. After many weeks of research, we have put together a new programme that is designed to support students who are finding aspects of sixth form study difficult. This programme is created to encourage students down the path of self reflection and in conjunction with their character development coach they set themselves target to work towards on a weekly basis. Students on the programme were selected by the sixth form team because we feel this programme can have a huge impact on their learning and experiences during their time in sixth form.

Tuesday evening was an excellent opportunity to welcome many parents in to explain the programme to them and develop strong relationships to support their child. This was also help involve parents as much as possible during the process. It was an excellent evening with many positive conversations being had by all. We look forward to seeing the development of this programme, including how students embrace this opportunity and engage with it.
