We were lucky enough to appoint Mr Carter to teach English at Bushey Meads School from September and he has made a superb contribution to the English faculty and is liked by students and staff.
Zac from Year 7 said: “I enjoy English lessons. Mr Carter makes things fun and engages us in the activities. I’m not a big fan of Shakespeare but I really like the mythology work we did”.
I caught up with Mr Carter to ask how he was and how he has found his start at BMS. He said: “Since starting at Bushey Meads School at the beginning of this academic year, I have been overwhelmed with the sense of community throughout the entire school. The school embeds its ‘Mind to be Kind’ culture in everything that it does, which results in a prodigiously positive learning environment for students and an exceptionally positive working environment for staff. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the students in my classes and my Character Development Group and I am greatly looking forward to the year ahead”.
We obviously wish Mr Carter all the very best for the year ahead.
