Our after-school cooking sessions have been off to a fantastic start! Students recently showed off their culinary skills making delicious upside-down puddings, which turned out to be an absolute success.

Over the next two Tuesdays, we are stepping up our baking game and making custom filled puff pastries.

Session Schedule & Location

  • Location: Room C11
  • Time: 3:10 PM
  • Years 8–11: Tuesday, 13th October
  • Year 7: Tuesday, 20th October

What You Need to Bring

Please make sure to bring the following items with you to your session:

  1. 1 packet of ready-made puff pastry (ready-rolled sheet recommended)
  2. Fillings of your choice

Filling Ideas & Inspiration

Feel free to mix and match your favorite ingredients! If you need some inspiration, here are a few winning combinations:

  • Spinach + Feta + Cream Cheese: Rich, savory, and perfectly creamy.
  • Cheddar + Leek + Mustard: A classic British flavor combo with a delicious kick.
  • Roasted Cauliflower + Curry Spices + Cheddar: Warm, fragrant, and packed with flavor.
  • Mexican-Style: Black beans, sweetcorn, diced peppers, cheddar, and smoked paprika.
  • Indian-Inspired: Diced potato, peas, spinach, cumin, and garam masala for a samosa-style filling.

We can’t wait to see what creative pastry creations everyone comes up with. See you in C11—get ready to bake!
