Students from Years 8–11 enjoyed an unforgettable reward trip last week as they travelled to the Prince Edward Theatre to see Beetlejuice the Musical, celebrating their exceptional engagement with Sparx Reader. The visit recognised those who have consistently met or exceeded their weekly reading targets, demonstrating commitment, independence, and a growing enthusiasm for reading across the school. For many students, it was their first time experiencing a major West End production.
The performance itself was a vibrant, high‑energy spectacle filled with humour, striking visuals, and standout musical numbers that had students talking long after the final curtain. Staff were delighted to see how much the students enjoyed the show, and the trip served as a powerful reminder of how reading can open doors to wider cultural experiences. We are incredibly proud of the students who earned their place on this reward visit and look forward to celebrating even more reading success throughout the year.
If you want to be invited to the next Sparx Reward trip, make sure you keep completing your Sparx Reader homework!
