Year 10 Maple leads the way in Attendance!

We are delighted to share that Year 10 Maple House currently holds the highest attendance across the year group so far this academic year. This is a fantastic achievement and reflects the commitment, resilience, and positive attitude of the students in Maple. A huge well done to every student who continues to show up, engage, and give their best each day and also to Miss Joannou!

Attendance is especially important in Year 10 as students begin the first full year of their GCSE journey. Every lesson provides essential knowledge, skills, and practice that builds the foundation for success in Year 11. Even a small number of missed days can make it harder to stay on track, leading to gaps in understanding and increased pressure later on.

attending school every day, students benefit from:

  • Consistent exposure to new learning and vital exam content

  • Stronger relationships with teachers and peers

  • Better progress and improved confidence

  • Reduced stress when approaching assessments and exams

We are incredibly proud of Maple House for demonstrating such dedication, and we encourage all Year 10 students to continue making attendance a priority as we move through this crucial year.

Let’s keep aiming high, every day in school truly makes a difference!
