Reader of the Week

Congratulations to Ellen McDermott in year 7 who is our reader of the week. She has read an amazing 21 books since we started back to school in September. In addition, Ellen wrote a short story to illustrate her understanding of the LRC. This is a beautifully descriptive piece sharing expectations and how the LRC is organised. Furthermore, providing insight into her perception of the school. Here is a short extract from Ellen’s work:

‘Once I walked to Bushey Meads School, they were hosting a festival in their library known as LRC2. I felt the warmth as I came into the school and a year 9 girl came to greet me, she said her name was Bella and she was going to give me a tour of the LRC block. ‘
