D.E.A.R Events at BMS

On Thursday 23rd September we had our first of six calendared D.E.A.R events this year. As many of you will know, this is an established part of our celebration and promotion of all things reading here at Bushey Meads School.

Our D.E.A.R events provide everyone, from teachers to office colleagues, a 15 minute oasis of calm and quiet where we drop everything we’re doing, recharge, tune out from the outside world and focus on a good book. There aren’t many moments in the life of a busy school where we just stop…and what better than to remind us all that reading is so beneficial to not only academic success, but our overall well being.

Reading is a gift for life!
