10 Elm Flair and Motivation
As it is flair week, CDC’s have been given the opportunity to allow members of their CDC Group to “take charge” and present the theme of the week (Flair/Motivation). 10 Elm took the opportunity to use the MA students in our group and get them to share their flair.
It was very interesting to see what has motivated them in their life so far, and where they would like to take their flair in order to be successful in the future.
Ashwin Aravinthan would like to become a CEO of a financial company, his flair is solving problems and being very hands on with challenges that have been presented to him.
Shajesh Jeyashanker is motivated by cricket and has been playing since he was 6. He also would like to take his skills into the world of Economics, maybe a potential CFO.
Lastly was Megan O’Callaghan, she is an avid photographer and has really harnessed her skills over lockdown, her portfolio looks great and there are several transferable skills which she has learned since she has picked up a camera.
Flair Week has been a great insight to our CDC time in terms of what they believe their flair is and how they plan to use it in their future. The message I have been telling them is that we all have flair, you just need to find it and use it as your motivation in life.
