Providing Feedback for Student Podcasts

Head of IT and Computing Mr Besisira showcased best practice at the start of this week in Staff Briefing on Monday morning to launch our second Marking and Feedback Fortnight of the year.

Building on the recent staff development focus on developing online learning, he demonstrated how his students had created scripted podcasts which they then delivered to the class and how he then provided live feedback to improve their work through the virtual platform of google classroom/meets.

It reminded us of how different approaches we have developed over the last two months can still be used in the classroom setting to help students improve their work and maximise their progress and attainment.
