On Wednesday of this week, after a morning tour around Hartsbourne Primary School, it was a privilege to welcome the Headteacher of Hertswood Academy in Borehamwood Peter Gillett to Bushey Meads School.
Peter enjoyed a tour of the school and met with a number of key staff and students. He spent some time with the Senior Leadership Team discussing strategies related to school improvement and sharing best practice. He also learned more about our unique setting here within the Bushey St James Trust and how it has positively impacted on the curriculum and teaching and learning agendas across the trust schools.
A cross section of Student Leaders held a meeting with him in the SIxth Form Centre before leaving to visit Little Reddings Primary School for lunch and a tour of their inspiring school.
