It was great to see James in Year 7 turning up for breakfast club in the LRC earlier this week wearing his new Gryffindor scarf. His mum was so proud of him gaining the very first place on the Harry Potter Reward Trip for students in Year 7 who have completed exemplary work in Mr Back’s literacy lessons in the LRC – something he is really looking forward to going on at the end of the year.
I would like to congratulate James for his hard work and thank Mr Back for inspiring and encouraging so many students each and every week in his wonderful reading lessons which are having such an impact in fostering the hugely important love of reading which underpins our whole curriculum and achievement agenda at BMS.
