On Friday 7th March the Year 10 and Year 12 dance students had the exciting opportunity to attend Move It, the world’s largest dance event at ExCeL London. The day was packed with inspirational talks, interactive market stools, dance industry professionals including Abby Lee Miller, a freestyle stage and unforgettable performances that left everyone feeling energized and motivated.
The group also enjoyed a fun and unique roller skating session which was a fantastic chance for them to challenge themselves in a fresh way and have a bit of fun.
The students also had the chance to explore the latest dancewear and accessories gaining endless bags of freebies. We spent a majority of our time at Move It watching live performances from top dance schools, colleges and companies. The experience gave them valuable insight into the professional dance world, which will no doubt inspire their upcoming performances and exam preparations.
A huge well done to the Year 10 and 12s for showing great enthusiasm and teamwork throughout the day.
We can’t wait for next year’s Move It event!
