Team : S Mowle (Capt), S Patel, A Worth, J Allan, G Guainiere, M Shah, Z Bertie, D Wilson, K Fung, L Fearnside
Comment : The Year 9/10 cricket team despite missing several players produced a fantastic performance to beat a strong Westfield team. An excellent batting display from S Mowle (20) and G Guainiere (26 not out) saw the boys set a total of 101. With Westfield having a strong top order batting lineup it was essential BMS took early wickets and a fantastic opening spell from S Patel and S Mowle saw several key wickets taken. A Worth and J Allan then cleared up the middle order to give the boys a convincing and well deserved win. Well done boys !

Comment : The Year 9/10 cricket team made it 3 wins out of 3 for the season with another convincing win over Reach Free. Some fantastic batting from S Patel and G Guainiere gave the boys an excellent total of 123. Despite missing several players the boys again bowled and fielded really well to run out convincing winners. Well done boys !
Year 7/8 Cricket v Reach Free (Division 1)

Result : Reach Free won by 1 run.
Batting : H. Neal 6, F. Mordecai 21, S. McGrath 1, J. Cunningham 6, A. Sanga 2, P. Patel 6, D. Snowden not out 5, S. Christian not out 1.

Team : H. Neal, F. Mordecai, L. Avci, J. Cunningham, P. Kannan, A. Sanga, D. Snowden, S. Christian, K. Gorsia, P. Patel, S. McGrath
Comment : The Year 7/8 cricket team came up against a strong Reach Free team on Monday. Reach Free went out to bat first and scored 70 for 6 off 15 overs. An excellent bowling display from all bowlers limited Reach Free. Moving into our bat, a strong start from F. Mordecai batting allowed him to score 21 runs, giving us a good start to our at bat. Some strong bowling from there onwards meant that we were limited in the number of runs we scored. With 4 overs left, we picked up the pace, scoring a number of runs bringing the game closer as we finished. Despite a late flurry of runs, we unfortunately fell 2 runs short off, scoring 69 off 15 overs. An unfortunate result from two relatively similar teams, but well done to all students involved. Onto the next match.
Year 9 Rounders- V The Grange
Date : 21st June
Score Won 14-13.5
Team : I Palan, I Wijerathna, E Bird V Hill , L Qarib. R Patel.
Comment : This was a great game with lots of great fielding and batting by the girls. In the first innings the girls managed to get all of the Grange players out within 12 ballsl (maximum of 30 balls)
The Grange scored 3.rounders to our 8.5. The Grange improved their batting and managed to score another 10.5 rounders in their second innings. In our batting innings the girls managed to score a further 5.5 rounders and so won the game . It was a very exciting game with some impressive fielding and batting. Well done girls.
