Nine Year 7 students recently represented Bushey Meads in a Year 7 Watford Maths Challenge competition involving schools from across the local area. The event provided an exciting opportunity for students to test their mathematical skills, work collaboratively and tackle a range of challenging problems, involving a relay question task and 3D constructions challenge.
The students showed great enthusiasm, teamwork and determination throughout the competition, demonstrating excellent problem-solving abilities while competing against their peers from other schools. One team was even nominated by one of the competition leaders for their great teamwork, as they seamlessly alternated between participants.
Well done to Olly, Jasper, Yashil, Damien, Oscar, Jetona, Georgia, Stefania and Ava for representing the school so positively and embracing this fantastic opportunity. Their effort and commitment were a credit to the school, and we are proud of their achievements.
