This month BMS is also celebrating Black History Month by exploring the Inspiring Lives series published in The Day online newspaper. Every Friday, all CD groups read an article that focuses on the lives of motivating black role models. Here are just a few of the inspiring lives students have been reading about so far:

All Bushey Meads students have access to The Day online and a link is their homepage. There are new articles every day and the English faculty would definitely recommend regular reading to keep up with current affairs. This in turn helps develop critical thinking and independent opinions in speech and writing.
