Getting creative in Psychology

This week A Level Psychology students have been learning about experimental designs in investigations. To help them understand this concept the department created an interactive activity. 

Students were split into two groups. Both groups had to make a model of a castle however one group were allowed to communicate verbally and the other group were not allowed to communicate verbally. The students were expecting the results to differ however both groups (some better than others) created good castles.

This was to show how individual difference is important in experiments. The students are now able to fully understand the different types of experimental design by getting creative.
