Celebrating Respect, Responsibility, and...

At Bushey Meads School, we believe that respect, responsibility, and positive relationships build the foundation of a thriving community. Recently, two remarkable students, Dillon Henry and Oliver Phillips, put these values into action by organising a bake sale to support a family friend battling a rare form of cancer.

Both students took the initiative to plan, organise, and run a bake sale during their free time; their efforts not only raised over £70 to help cover medical expenses for the family but also demonstrated the power of a ‘mind to be kind’ and community teamwork.

This inspiring act of kindness reminds us that when we live by the values of respect, responsibility, and relationships, we can truly make a real difference to people’s lives.
