Next Steps Success

We were delighted to welcome Year 12 students and their parents/carers to our annual Next Steps event, an informative evening designed to help students explore their options post Bushey Meads, including university and apprenticeships.

The event provided valuable guidance and advice to support students as they begin considering their future pathways. We were pleased to be joined by two guest speakers: Alison from the University of Hertfordshire, who shared insightful information about higher education opportunities and the university application process, and Jess from Services for Young People, who spoke about the wide range of apprenticeship opportunities available, including the different apprenticeship levels and routes into employment and training.

Both speakers also provided helpful information about student finance options, ensuring that students and families left with a clearer understanding of the financial support available for further study and training.

We are incredibly proud of all our Year 12 students for engaging so positively with the event and taking an active interest in planning their futures. We hope that everyone who attended found the evening beneficial, informative, and inspiring as they begin thinking about their next steps beyond sixth form.

Thank you to our guest speakers, students, parents, and staff for making the event such a success
