Responsible Travel for Students: A Reminder...

As our students commute to and from school using public transport, it’s important to remind them—and support them—in traveling safely and responsibly. Encouraging good habits on buses and trains not only helps keep everyone safe but also ensures a smooth journey for all passengers.

Parents can help by reinforcing the importance of:

  • Traveling safely: Students should always remain seated or hold on to handrails, be aware of their surroundings, and follow any instructions from transport staff.
  • Tapping on and off: It’s essential that students tap their travel cards when boarding and exiting buses and trains. This ensures the correct fare is charged and helps transport authorities keep services running efficiently.
  • Respecting others: Encourage your child to be courteous to fellow passengers and to keep noise and distractions to a minimum.

By working together, we can help our students develop responsible travel habits that keep them safe and contribute to a positive community experience.

Thank you for your support!
