Be a Considerate Driver!

Be a Considerate Driver!

I would like to thank the vast majority of parents and carers who always show consideration when picking up and dropping off their children to school.

Unfortunately, as a school we have received a few complaints from local residents about a small minority of parents and carers who have not demonstrated the same consideration for others.

As a reminder:

  • Please arrange to collect your children as far away from the main entrances of the school as possible and consider
  • Using the suggested locations as part of our ‘Park and Stride’ initiative
  • Do not park or stop on the yellow zig zags at the main entrance
  • Do not pull into the entrance gates on Coldharbour Lane
  • Do not pull into the entrance gates of our neighbouring school Meadow Wood
  • Park with consideration for our neighbours by not pulling into their driveways or blocking the entrance to their driveway
  • Drive slowly with due care and consideration along Coldharbour Lane to allow students to cross roads in safety
  • Do not complete three point turns in Coldharbour Lane but drive around the block
  • Do not stop in the road to pick up children as this holds up the traffic
  • Make sure you turn your engine off when waiting

Many thanks as always to all the parents and carers who always park with consideration of others.
