SEND Information Evening
On Wednesday 23 October over 80 students, parents and carers gathered in the main hall for the SEND Information evening.
Mrs Dillon, SENDCo, hosted the evening as a way to introduce herself and the wider Learning Support Faculty. It was a great evening to be able to look at the support and reasonable adjustments that can be made for students and to have the opportunities to network.

Mrs Dillon referenced the SEN Code of Practice 2014 and the focus on Quality First Teaching in the classroom. Parents and carers were given information about support networks beyond school.
A very useful and interactive evening!
