Mrs Hanbury was so proud of her Year 10 Food Preparation and Nutrition group for working diligently, with care and precision to prepare over 100 mince pies to take to Hartsbourne primary school for the first BSJT Teacher Toolkit. This is an opportunity for the 3 schools in the trust to come together to enjoy a Christmas themed inset.
The feedback the Year 10’s was fantastic! The teachers of BSJT couldn’t believe what talented chefs we had in the school. The mince pies were enjoyed by all.
The Year 10’s are currently completing a pastry project. They have mastered shortcrust and flaky pastry and will be tackling filo and choux in the coming weeks.
