Multi Trust Dance Company

Bushey Meads Dance Company has been established for four years and we decided to take it to the next level by expanding the company and offering places to students from Years 5 and 6 at Hartsbourne and Little Reddings Schools, alongside students from Years 7 to 9 at Bushey Meads School. The BMS company has already seen students perform and compete at events such as: The British Grand Prix, Mardis Gras Challenge at Sadlers Wells, The Hertfordhsire County Dance Festival and Dance Challenge UK.

We had a challenging audition evening in February, where students from across the three schools, were put through their paces with a contemporary and street dance routine. Successful students were then given a place in the company and invited to attend rehearsals every Monday after school, at BMS.

The students have been rehearsing for four weeks now and have already produced some exciting work! It is great to see dancers of various ages come together to share their love for dance. We are really excited to see the company grow and will have some upcoming performances towards the end of the year; watch this space! If you are still interested in auditioning for the company, it’s not too late, please contact Mrs Rosa and she will be happy to arrange this with you.
