Mr Akram and I had the pleasure of taking some year 10 students on a maths enrichment trip run by the Further Mathematics Support Programme at the University of Hertfordshire last Friday.
The day consisted of a number of sessions offering an insight into how maths is used in the world, including workshops and competitions. The students worked excellently during a group activity in which they were put in groups with students from other schools. They also enjoyed interactive sessions where they investigated different mathematical ideas.
