Our inspiring Head of Standards, Safeguarding and SEN Mrs Ash led the very important Main School Assemblies this week which reminded all students about one of our 3 Rs – one of our very important core values, that of Responsibility. The older students in our school have a very important responsibility to be exemplary role models to the younger students and to take that aspect of independent learning very seriously (whether in study periods in the Sixth Form Study Centre, Going for Greatness lessons at Key Stage 4, or through independent home learning tasks to get ahead with their attainment and progress towards GCSEs and in the Post 16 studies.)
All students in the school need to follow our Keys to Success in all lessons and also take responsibility for the school environment – inside and outside of the classroom and always acting with kindness to others in all that they do. If we all take full responsibility we will achieve great success – both individually and also as a school community.
Remember RESPONSIBILITY is really important!
