Year 8 Cricket v Queens (Premier league)
Date : Tuesday 21st May 2019
Score : Won by 8 Wickets
Comment : The team faced Queens on a lovely summer’s day perfect for cricket. Bushey won the toss and decided to bowl first. All members of the team bowled very well which resulted in Queens being bowled out off of the last ball for 46. The opening pair got off to a good start against some excellent bowling. However a couple of quick wickets fell which gave some hope for the Queens bowling attack. Again however some excellent batting saw the team win by 8 wickets with 4 overs left.

Player of match: L.Kirby for hitting some great rounders.
Comment: A dominant display from the year 9 team who showed superiority in both batting and fielding skills to secure a sound victory over their local rivals. Good tactical awareness in the field coupled with some fine hitting, practice is paying off!, made the difference and ensured victory.
Well played ladies.

Score : Won
Team : S Narroway, J Benveniste, A Elman , E Rowe, C Gonzalez- Aller, L Roberts, C Wright, Maisie W, Andrea H
Player of match: C Wright
Comment: The year 10 team fielded with great strategy, putting the batters under pressure and preventing Queens from scoring on 2nd base. In the first innings BMS fielded out the entire Queens team which is testament to their terrific fielding. Well done to all of the players. A great team effort.
Year 7 V St Margarets SJC

Team : Krisha C, Siyona H, Anya A, Milla A, Kaksha C, Kushi D. Ruby R, Olivia H , Preesha M, K Kovorova
Player of match: Siyona H a fine display at backstop
Comment: This was a tough game for the year 7 team in only their second match. The opposition had clearly been playing together for a number of years. The girls fought hard to stay in the game but struggled to match the scoring of their opposition. A much better second innings both batting and fielding saw them reduce the deficit, and take lots of positives into the coming matches.
Year 8 V St Margarets LW
Date : Tuesday 21st May 2019
Score : Lost 8.5 to 16
Team : R Dodhia (captain), F Hadden, M Sanchez, S Lea, V Dhameliya, S Appleby, M Choudhary, M Worley, A Rajendran, A Deutrom
Player of match: M Worley
Comment: Our girls fielded really well; backing up the bases and sending the ball effectively in from deep field. St Margaret’s had some extremely powerful batters which led to the eventual score line. We will be focusing on our batting technique in practice this week. Despite the loss the girls were in positive spirits and a pleasure to be around (as always).
Remember rounders practice takes place every Wednesday lunchtime and after school on the back field. Everyone is welcome.

Date : Monday 20th May 2019
Score : Lost 3 sets to 1 (19-11 in games)
Team : A Kothary, J Agrawal, N Phillips, I Upadhyay
Comment : The Year 9 tennis team played their first match of the season with a very keenly contested and competitive match against parmiters. There was some really impressive doubles play from both teams in the 4 set match. It was great to see such high levels of sportsmanship from both teams with boys taking responsibility for their own officiating and scoring. A reminder tennis club takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays with all new players welcome.
