2nd place in the East of England Region!
This year, the CyberFirst Girls competition runs from 18th November 2024 to 27th November 2024. We have 16 Year 8 participants and they showed much enthusiasm to join this competition.
The result was broadcasted on 2nd December 2024 on the NCSC website, National Cyber Security Centre. We are pleased to announce that the Bushey Meads School is in 2nd place in the East of England region!
For the past two years, the Watford Grammar Girls school has won the first place in the East of England region and this year, the Bushey Meads school was able to overcome this formidable opponent and took the 2nd place while the Watford Grammar girls school took the 3rd place.
I am very proud of our Year 8 girls’ commitment and achievement. Well done Year 8 girls!
A big thank you to the Year 8 CDCs who have helped with demonstrating the presentation to their CDC members and have encouraged the Year 8 girls to consider joining this competition.
Also, a big thank you to those teaching staff whose lessons were affected and they have shown much support towards the competition.
