In a must win match for local team Saracens Mavericks we were lucky to have front row seats to view the action. Taking on Surrey Storm, Mavericks started slowly and were down in the first quarter before getting themselves back into the game with the scores level at half time.
It was fantastic to see the pace of the game at this level and we were lucky to be able to witness International players on both teams.
The athleticism of the players was a real spectacle and being able to observe it at such close quarters was very inspirational.
In the second half Mavericks took control of the game and went on to secure the victory 54-50 and keep their hopes alive for the finals weekend.
It was a really lovely afternoon and the girls really enjoyed the opportunity and as always were great ambassadors for the school.
